I am blessed to be leading Berkshire Black Business 10 years on from its beginnings.
I felt there was a gap in the local networking scene and wanting to add something to it.
In 2013 Berkshire Black Business was born.
Certainly the world has changed a bit since then and many companies have woken up to the lack of diversity in their organisations.
For those seeking to address this then BBB is a good place to look to.
Over the years we’ve had many speakers and events – connecting, inspiring and growing. Become more visible so that your customers can find you.
At that time I was a self employed counsellor. Today I am still offering counselling and writing workshops to support people to live more fully and deeply.
I am also a One of Many qualified (ICF recognised) coach which sees that each of us as a leader in our own life/work, and and if we have the tools, we can make an impact without burnout.
My passion, stemming from my decade as a Careers Adviser, is to support people develop new skills and celebrate under-appreciated gifts and abilities. We can be a resource for each other.
My values and that of BBB includes generosity, encouragement, inspiration, authenticity and community. People do business with people and we need to know, like and trust each other before we can refer.
Having also worked in the private and public sector I want to support those who are already entrepreneurs and those with a side hustle, as they grow their offer.
