Reading Chronicle report
We’re in the newspaper! I spoke to the Reading Chronicle yesterday, and we’re now in the business section of this week’s edition (14 November).

A fantastic evening with some inspiring people – I’d like to thank everyone who came to last night’s launch event, and to thank Vicky Groulef and Louise Chandler for being our featured speakers. I’ll be working though the feedback forms completed on the night and using them to set up the next event for the community – it’ll be announced here first. Shirley
BBC Radio Berkshire interview
Welcome to all new members – it’s great to see so many people joining the community, and I look forward to meeting many of you at our launch event on Thursday evening.
If you’d like to know more about Berkshire Black Business, Mel Stevens and I had the privilege of appearing on Bridgitte Tetteh’s BBC Radio Berkshire show this weekend to talk about why there was a need for Berkshire Black Business, and what we have in mind for the community. Welcome to Berkshire Black Business, a space to encourage motivate and inspire each other.
I hope you can join me in making Berkshire Black Business a reality.
The aim is to meet to encourage, motivate and inspire each other. Each meet up will involve food, drink and chat alongside a guest speaker or two. We can also connect online in this networking space.
If you are an entrepreneur, a professional, a creative, a business owner… and you would like to connect to be encouraged, motivated and inspired then come along to our first meet up and ask for what you want. Don’t forget to bring your business cards with you.
